Happy New Year Grand Beauties!  Have you created your New Year?

With every passing year the change of a new year gives us the opportunity to set ourselves up for new goals, or desires for our lives, and an opportunity let go of the pass to start creating the best year of our lives.

The lessons of 2015 were all well received as that’s how I choose to look back at the events of the past year so I can adjust and make changes to hopefully create a better, healthier, joyful life.

My goals for the Grand as this is the year my husband Steve Sargeant will finally join our team and help me run the business. Our intentions when we built The Grand were that he would leave his job and do the business side of the Grand. Well that never happened as he wanted to finish what he created in his industry.

I’m so excited to finally have the missing piece of The Grand as he has allowed me to drag him into the salon and spa world with no warning of what he was about to learn or receive.

I love the time he couldn’t figure out the Tai massage pants at the Hana Maui Spa and decided to tie them around his waist, when his therapist walked in the room and says no no no no giving his therapist the total wrong idea… Lol His organization and love for perfection of a business will be a total asset to The Grand.

I think I always mention how much I love The Grand and as awesome as its been since 2007 we are just getting started.

We want to improve our customer service to make sure that when you choose to walk through our doors everything will be taken care of like a world class spa and salon.

Our education for our employees will continue to be a must. As last year was a huge year bringing motivational building educators like Daniel Jones and traveling to Thalgo school in France with our therapist. So how do we beat all that??

That’s what’s so exciting about life and how we choose to live it.

One of the things I am grateful for besides my family is living a spa life. It makes me walk the walk which by the way isn’t so bad when part of your job is getting facials and body treatments. Hey I can help I set myself up like that!! Lol

Sitting in the sauna and having mud steam treatments as our Grand members get as one of their benefits renews me every time. That’s why I chose to offer that to our members as one of their membership benefits.

Sitting in the Buddha garden we created to do yoga, meditation, or have some Thalgo tea time to treat you from within will help you create a better life. Sometimes we need somewhere to go to. I hope we can be that peaceful spot for when life gets a little hectic or you just want some pampering or some serious me time you can have a Grand place to escape.

This is a new experience for you to enjoy the simple pleasures of Spa and Beauty.
